Mmkay, so I said I have no 60-gig hard drives spare, but I do have a 40-gig one that's sitting around doing nothing (two of them, in fact). I didn't look to see how much free space was left on Dmitri's hard drive, but if what's on there can fit on a 40-gig drive/you can clear out a bunch of stuff that you don't want in order to make it fit/would like me to do a clean reinstall of Windows (after backing up the stuff you want to keep) so as to make Dmitri work better, I can install a new drive for you and get rid of the dying one.

Backing up is something you really feel like doing about 5 seconds after you needed to have kept a backup of everything ever.

Do yourself a favour, go out and buy a 200GB hard drive and external enclosure, and find out a program to backup daily. Your hard drive probably won't fail, but it's the best money ever spent if it does.
