Yep! His dad (Nick) is coming to stay here for awhile too. _Gorgeous_ boy and a retrieving fool when outside and a complete mellow doorstop indoors. I'm really hoping the puppy has his temperament. :-)
Puppy will probably be with me at OVFF. I'm going to stay next-door at the Sheraton Suites again so I can bring dog(s).
There's a fine line between "lots of stuff is happening, I feel alive and excited" and "too much stuff is happening, I'm overwhelmed and I can't take it." Sounds like you're on the good side of the line so far; hope it stays that way.
Well, the band's schedule settles down after October, and I'm probably done with training at the FD for awhile after October too (I don't think I'm going to be crazy enough to jump straight into the EMT class). Zoo also slacks off during the winter, so that will free up some weekend time.
Thankfully, the fire department is well aware of the fact that if you burn out volunteers, they don't come back, so they're pretty understanding if you need a break (or if, like this weekend, life intervenes and you need to be elsewhere). They actually arranged the Mandatory class around my trip to Canada so that the only class I'm missing is one that's easy to make up. :-)
And yes, I'll be herding furries at IFC. I'll be in class at the FD during much of the day on Saturday, but should be around on Friday, Saturday night, and probably some on Sunday.

Are you going to be herding furries in 2 weeks?
