This was a very good update. I completely agree with everything you're saying. People only seem to care around this time of year...But it's probably the other 363 other days of the year when they need it most, because no one's paying attention to them any other times than Christmas.
And you're also right about love. It's thrown around and used to much it loses it's meaning. =(

i hate the fact that people don't care enough to help all the time. i mean seriously, how hard is it to give just a little time every week or month to help the lives of others? that's why there are so many homeless and/or less fortunate people out there.
