So a few years ago a lab I worked with gave me a CD with a program called "Convert" on it. Basically its a simple windows program that has about a zillion tabs on the window that allow you to literally convert any number to any other value (as long as they make physical sense - i.e. you can't convert M.P.H. to gallons etc

it might just be me (and my vaunted dyscalculia) but I think converting MPH to gallons sounds nifty.

with all the people i know outside the US, i find myself using Convert dozens of times a day - how many cc's in a teaspoon? if it's 20° F. with a 30-mph wind, how cold is that in metric? so it's not exactly a surprise that i like the way Madison thinks ;-D
