1100 miles so far, and I'm having a ball. There is NO internet or cellphone service anywhere on the Blue Ridge Parkway though. I've made it to Cherokee, NC, and the Great Smokey Mountain National Park. Tomorrow, Deal's Gap?

More updates when I get a higher-speed connection.

Bike is all packed up. I'll be leaving after I finish my coffee and breakfast.

The adventure begins. Here's to hoping for easily-accessible wireless internet access. Pictures and more text coming further on in the adventure. :-)

I had to go and post pictures of the kittens. Went out last night before bed to put food in the bowl, and discovered that mom had moved the litter to a "safer" place. She's definitely a very wild cat, and wasn't very happy with us humans prowling around, even if it was only a couple of times a day.
