1. Playing in a musical which parodies the recent controversial curriculum reform at my university (we switched from a European-style model to a more generalist American one, and to do so we cut our undergraduate degrees from 96 specialist ones to 6 general ones, with lots of classes, majors, funding for obscure and unprofitable departments, and

I don't think it was a major. I think it might have been one or two classes, possibly a minor. It involved taking lessons in Old Norse, modern Swedish, and medieval Scandinavian history and building Viking boats.

I might have a CD of the thing to share, actually.

the thing being Melbourne Model: The Musical, not Viking studies. Can't have a CD of Viking studies because it got axed along with gender studies, development studies, puppetry, and food science.
