I like these babies, they've got potential!

My dad is pondering over the idea of installing solar panels on the roof of his house. I'd opt for this much, it minimizes cosst of water heating for instance.

Depending on what kind of panels you want to install, its a good idea! Though you get more power generation potential via an array that tracks the sun. With a fixed system on the roof, it won't catch quite as much light, unless you're in a very sunny area, and have lots o' panels. :3

Intresting idea. But who will get to clean them and get the bottle of detergent? They won't fit in the washing machine hehehe :)!

You're absoultely right, it is what we need. Put a lot of 'em in some place with a lot of sun and these would replace a lot of old fashioned power stations :).

They apparently need very little in the way of cleaning. A few guys with water hoses will likely do the trick. :3

And yar, they will do a good jorb at replacing the older power stations.
