This is how it's knitting up, perhaps a bit brighter in person:

Shannon! It came today and it's BEAUTIFUL! Wow, you did such a nice job.

I have to admit to you, I was a little nervous. Iris unexpectedly potty trained two weeks ago and I was scared to tell you after all the work you've done. We still use our wool every day (actually more now than ever- it's so perfect for potty misses in public places) and this skirty will get tons of love, but I didn't want to say anything until I'd tried it on her and knew it would still work for us.
Even with just training pants, it's a perfect fit with a little room to grow. Sooooo wonderful and soft. Iris didn't mind wearing it one bit! I did roll the waistband to shorten the rise for her (I never would have forsaw the potty training, or the need for a short rise after all) but other than that, it's really, really lovely.
Thank you so very much. <3 ( ... )

PS- if you do this colorway again, it should be called "sidewalk chalk"- see how perfectly those colors match the chalk Iris was playing with? Love it!

That's a great idea - I was thinking of doing the same colorway with asphalt gray instead of brown, so that would be a perfect name!
