Those look great. Out of curiosity, what base are you using?

Love the soakers. that's something I just don't knit well. I'm not sure why but most of mine turn out funky.

Those are all Malabrigo (merino worsted) - it's my favorite for newborns. So soft!!

I wonder why yours turn out funky? Which pattern do you use? These are the Snapdragon pattern, though I've made a few changes because I hate how off-kilter the pattern is.

I've used a few patterns, curly purly/snapdragon. I think part of it is I don't *like* to knit them so I take too many shortcuts. I also have this aversion to knitting flat (though I'm overcoming that) so I'd skip there too.
