It's good to have three different and independent realms of existence. Granted, last year at Rose and this year at Rose will soon collide, and I have no idea how any of that will play, it's still a really cool feeling. One of my early memories from this summer was hearing someone say, "Summer is like Christmas. There's no such thing as a bad one, just different." I would've never hoped for summer to end like it has, but the summer didn't begin how I had hoped, either. If I had another day or week at home, I couldn't change anything. It was out of my hands.

Every time I try to write an entry, I write something, then look at it and realize I either don't want to say most of it, or there's no point. There are some songs from the album Debut by Björk that are cheesy hip hop beats. I feel delightfully funny but genuinely good listening to the song Big Time Sensuality, and I developed an appreciation of the lyrics pulling out of the Book Source parking lot around Christmas. This is the earliest I've gone to bed in a while, and all I want to do is wake up reasonably early tomorrow morning and be able to retain the exact thoughts that are in my head right now.
