Of course Saint Nicholas actually existed, but there was no proof that he was the Santa Claus they talk about. I'm pretty sure he didn't have any powers.

Well on Snowflake Day last year I saw an angel who looked just like Mandy Moore! So, I guess that kind of prepared me for Santa.
