теперь я чебурашка

This was Polina's first live show. She didn't really know what's going on until we got there and Elmo was right on the stage in front of her.

I am very glad I paid for parking in advance - it saved time and worry. What I was not happy about is that the print-out I grabbed from home came out with all of the text corrupt, and I had to run back inside to print another one (note to self: ALWAYS check your print-outs BEFORE leaving the house).

The venue (BU's Agganis Arena) was a major disappointment.

There was lots of stairs and hard to travel with a diaper bag in one arm and baby in the other. Even though there were many attendants, some were confused about what's where. Some simple easy-to-read signs (like ROWS A-F THIS WAY, ALTERNATIVE ENTRANCE TO FLOOR SEATS, BATHROOMS, EXIT TO GARAGE) would have done the job.

Our seats were on the floor - row F (6th from front, seats 5 and 6), but since all rows were on same height, it was very hard to see anything but people's heads if you were anywhere past the 2nd row.

The show itself was wonderful - lots of dancing (breakdance moves like the running man and back-kick), singing, lights, costumes and even paper-pyro at the end!

Even though at the entrance I was forced to throw out my iced-tea drink that I brought from home (TOTALLY SEALED!) we still had Polina's snacks and her water. That helped during the 15 min break when everyone went to get a snack from vendors (pretzels, cotton candy and popcorn).

Kids were great, many participated, and the adults did too! At the end the little ones were getting very cranky - it seemed that many were missing their naptime, like us. Some were crying, others wouldn't stay still.

Now and then we'd saw a mommy chasing here little one who ran towars the stage :)

We tried to sneak out as swiftly as we snuck in, finding a secret elevator straight to the parking area. I even managed to find my car with very little effort in a garage that has only a name only for the floor. Now my only challenge will be to keep Polina from passing out in the car (before actual naptime at home)! :)
