I really love Black Earth, but after grabbing some more Bohren & der Club of Gore I discovered all their albums sound the same :(.

In fact, pretty much all doom jazz sounds the same. Pity.

Yeah, it's a very minimalist genre so similarity between albums is a bit of an inevitability.

You should have a proper listen to that Out Hud albums (you heard one or two tracks at Adam's place when I put it on). I reckon you'd be a big fan.
