I really wanted to find a different Charming Hostess song to post, but that was the only one I could get. There's some really interesting songs on the album when they move further from the traditional stuff.

The Mario samples don't show up on the album, that's just a "live show only" oddity. I don't particularly like it either. There's less mayhem in the looping as well - it's a lot more controlled. Basically, if you enjoyed everything up until the Mario stuff, then you'll like the album in general :)

I quite like Overpowered as well, but Ruby Blue really clicks for me in a big way. Although "Sow Into You" is far from my favourite song, I just put it in since it was the single and has a proper clip. If you want a song that makes full use of her voice you should definitely check out "Ramalama", if you haven't already.

Also, while Art vs Science generated a considerable degree of annoyance with the massively overplayed "Parlez-vous Francais?", I'm actually really liking "Magic Fountain". It's just so huge and silly, like a headbanging hippopotamus. We'll see how I feel after Triple J play it fifty times a day for the rest of the year, though.
