A/N: It’s longer! Yay! Also, I think this may be the last one that’s in order. I had originally planned to do random de-aged!Neal ficlets, in whichever order they come to me, so those might be up next. I have lots of ideas for them (some I’m really excited about). I hope you like this chapter

This is lovely, and yet, at the same time, creepy. Wee!Neal is cute as always, but this line really got to me:

“Even when ’m bad?” he asked. “You keep me even t’en?”

It's heartbreaking, and yet . . . I can't help wondering about three-year-old decision-making process. Does Neal mean in the context of his first youth, or does he remember that if he were a grown-up, Peter wouldn't be able to keep him if he was bad? He'd go back to prison.

I love this story, very sweet. Loved Peter's conversation with Neal. I'd really like to see the immediate aftermath of this decision - how they manage to keep Neal (forged birth certificate?), who takes care of Neal when El and Peter are working, El's reaction to Neal's decision...
