What do you know about it?

A friend of mine has been diagnosed with what is called a pontine glioma, which is basically a malignant tumor on the pons of the brain stem.  I'm writing this entry to request that anyone that reads this, leave information (weblinks, advice, knowledge, etc) in the comments of this journal entry reguarding any alternative therapies for cancer (

This is the guy who teaches microbio of cancer and aids. You might try dropping him a line to find out when his office hours are so you could talk with him. I don't remember if you took the class or not, but I did and it was awesome. He is awesome. I'm sure he'd at least be able to give you more info on alternative therapies, etc. He's got to have the resources, hopefully complied in a neat list. A whole huge message in the class was on alternative treatments. In the meantime, I will will try to locate my notebook, so I can at least tell you the books we had for class, which I'm sure they carry at Food For Thought and the like.

I was very, very sad to learn about this. Thinking good things. Let me know if you wanna take a trip to Barnes and Noble, Food For Thought, any of the libraries, etc. sometime to look anything up. I'm happy to help any way that I can.

Hi guys.
I'm reading this post at play rehearsal so all of my co-workers have gone home. Tomorrow I'll talk with the head of the science dept. tomorrow, she always has great medical journal websites to recommend. I'll also check in with my knitting teacher Tammy. hey talked to my mom - for what it's worth, she recommended hands of light (which i believe you said you own/have read) and a book called "light emerging"

dunno if it helps at all, but it's there for ya if you want.
