I think i just quit it. We played lunches, the best we had yet. I'd been thinking of quitting, but stopped after that day - people liked us, we had more fans than ever, it was going well

well, main reasons for quitting, if not the catalyst, more clearly: 1. not enough free time 2. tired of the particular music style + songs 3. prefer songwriting over performing 4. would rather be in a more friendly creative climate, this one was kinda businesslike and restricted.
College is where I plan to really get into it - knowing that this band would end when a couple of us graduate this summer, the benefits didnt seem to outweigh the time and energy commitment.
can't hurt to stockpile good songs til later, too
might even jam with the other guys in the band this summer, its always fun.
update: dan(otherguitar) and i will probably start a new one in the near future.
In college i hope to do something loose and brokensocialscene style, where the band consists of whoever wants to be in it whenever they want to be in it and the music is boss.
