We can be "Heroes"... New Season, New Show, New Addition

Oct 19, 2006 10:28

It may simply have been an act of convenience... But if you're sending your new super "Heroes" to Las Vegas, you might as well shoot on the set of your Las Vegas-based series "Las Vegas" to save on costs!

Heroes' Hiro Nakamura and his best friend played roulette and poker at the fictional Montecito Hotel... which brings the very new show - and the ( Read more... )

There's also speculation that Lost and Heroes will eventually be tied together, the Heroes being a product of the same minds that came up with the island. So that would tie it in, too!

What is this speculation based on?

There's been more bizarre crossovers in TV history, but this one I'm highly skeptical on.

Also, I am enjoying Heroes so far. I hope it doesn't turn into Lost.

It's just speculation based off of the compatibility and the fact that the creators apparantly got along when they worked on Crossing Jordan together. I don't think it would ever be cannon. I think the idea is to make it possible.

It's good to know the creator connection, though - because they could easily drop in-jokes in either show that make them part of the same universe anyway. Knowing there's a producer connection helps figure these things out sometimes.

Thanks for the heads-up!

So now "Las Vegas" has three known links, if I've got my figures right:

"Heroes"
"Crossing Jordan"
"Passions"

Four links, now.

The Nov. 10 2006 episode of NBC's Las Vegas referred to The Office's Dunder Mifflin Inc., who apparently reserved a large conference room at the Monticito Casino, requiring our heroes to provide additional security for them.

Brilliant!

Here I was thinking The Office (US) would soon be linked to The Office (UK) - also part of the Tommyverse. But that won't be happening this season, so...

The Office (US) is in!!

Thank you.

Good news, everyone!

(apologies to Professor Farnsworth)

That's a great addition to the Great Link. I wish I had taped the show now..... Maybe it'll show up on Bravo?

Possible Office (US) tie-in anonymous November 16 2006, 19:49:22 UTC
I heard from someone that Kevin from the Office was going to be staying at the Montecito as well, although the only mention I can find is in the character's myspace blog.

Wonderfalls connection anonymous December 21 2006, 02:11:25 UTC
This is a very long shot but... I have a possible connection between Heroes and the short-lived series Wonderfalls. I was told that the character Niki Saunders has a distinctive souvenir figure of a wax lion in her house...the same lion, in fact, that the pilot episode of Wonderfalls revolves around. I'm told that the lion is visible in the second episode, in the background after Niki is waking up. Can anyone confirm this? And if so, does it count as a crossover?
