The Cold Case episode "Family 8108" begins during World War II in Sunnydale, CA, not the real Sunnyvale. So the Japanese-American family that got sent to the Relocation Camp was living on the Hellmouth.
New Playpen sightingtele_tobyJune 2 2008, 18:23:20 UTC
Playpen magazine reared up again last night in the final minutes of "In Plain Sight". Marshal Mary Shannon brought a copy to her new Witness protection case so that she could pick out her new breasts. (And I may be wrong about this - but it looks to be the same issue that Sawyer had in his stash on "Lost"!)

Thanks for finding this tobey,
I wish wikipedia hadn't deletedthe articleon Playpen, becouse it is hard to find the information without the list but I think it is about the 26th or 27th show to feature the magazine
NBC's "Chuck" needs to be in the chart

On the Season 1, Episode 2 episode of "Chuck" on NBC, entitled "Chuck versus the helicopter", the title character mentions that he has knowledge of what made Oceanic 815 crash. It is not a reference to the show "Lost", but is treated as if what happened in "Lost" is real in the "Chuck" universe, so it fits here.
"In Plain Sight" & "Law & Order: CI"tele_tobyJune 9 2008, 01:29:46 UTC
Next Sunday (June 15), Mary McCormack's character of Mary Shannon from "In Plain Sight" will be making a cameo appearance on "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" just before her show airs.
So that'll make a tighter connection to the Westphallian TV Universe than the issue of Playpen magazine from the premiere.

If you missed your chance to see Mary Shannon of 'In Plain Sight' show up on 'Law & Order: Criminal Intent' this past Sunday, not a problem. Use an video search engine and type in both titles. Plenty of entries for the two minute scene.
If you want to see the whole episode, Amazon Unbox has it for 1.99....
Okay, are we even considering The Chronicle? It was a short-lived series on the Sci-Fi Channel that referenced SF's other show, The Invisible Man, had a crossover with Big Trouble in Little China (Yes, it's a feature film), and referenced Star Trek. The Star Trek reference went like this: in the episode Pig Boy's Big Adventure, the villian was a Harcourt Fenton. This is clearly referring to Harcourt Fenton "Harry" Mudd, the recurring character on ST. I, as well as Wold-Newton folks, would argue that this is a crossover. From there, The Invisible Man referenced Doctor Who several times in its pilot, even to the point of featuring a card with the name I.M. Foreman on it, the first known alias of the Doctor. IM also implicitly featured Tom from Prey in the episode Exposed.

I have the Invisible man on my list because of an appearance of the National Inquisitor from The Naked Truth among others shows
What is the connection between Invisible Man and The Chronicle, I hope that we can add it to Tommy's mind soon

There's an episode of 'Matt Houston' in which Chuck McCann is seen reading a copy, with Matt Houston's face on the front page.
