We've been having brown-outs lately in CA too cause' of the heat and everyone has their A/C on. It's crazy.

Glad you posted and got to go your folks.......was thinking about YOU everytime I heard the news......Do you have INSURANCE?????......they may be able to cover your loss for the trees & fridge & whatever else you have - Good luck!
P.S. Back in 2000 I was without power from our ICE STORM for THREE weeks...insurance covered EVERYTHING......I'm with NATIONWIDE & my agent is SUPER!!!!

I'm relieved that you had somewhere to go during the blackout in Saint Louis after the big storm! Your family is always there for you. Don't worry about the groceries. Take them off of your income tax next year.
