Despite being twenty one, almost twenty two, Yuri has absolutely no goals in life other than to relax and cause mayhem for the local knights. Yuri is rather sarcastic and wields it much like he does his sword, often criticizing friends and foes for ridiculous and borderline insane ideas.

Or hell he might just be trolling them for the lulz, because that is how Yuri Lowell rolls and you can't stop the Lowell Train once it starts.

He's also incredibly laid back, often putting off things for a while before getting to them. This has rubbed several people the wrong way on occasion. Or all the time if you're a Knight, but then when does he ever not bother a Knight half to death?

But he certainly can be hardworking, it's just a motivational issue. Getting Yuri to work hard generally takes some bribery or a couple very very convincing threats. If that doesn't work find the nearest Flynn and then send him over to Yuri. That work will get done very very quick.

He also enjoys playing pranks on others if he likes them or not. This is an incredibly annoying habit to many. He will exploit others fears and such for his own personal amusement, if it isn't too bad. Example: Scared of monsters like Karol? Guess what Yuri will tease you about it until the end of time. Get annoyed easily? Guess what you're a prime target for Yuri!

Yuri is very vocal about his opinion in many situations, he will not sugar coat his words either. This makes it a little hard to get along with him if someone expects to be pampered by him. Yuri grew up listening to the harsh words in the Lower Quarter. He's also seen what sugar coating words will do to others so he doesn't do it.

That and Yuri's just not that good at it.

Yuri is not effected by the opinions of others either. He will gladly state if some one tries to put him down or such. He might even shoot it down. It's shown in his attitude that, he really could care less about yours or another persons opinion about him.Yuri's quite comfortable with how he is currently. Nothing in the world would make him think about changing drastically. If he does change it'll be small and most likely unimportant things. He's twenty one almost twenty two years old, he's no longer easily changed without a damn good reason.

Yuri is not vocal about things that bother him at all. If something is bothering him and someone addresses it he will change the subject. If someone persists however after a given amount of time, Yuri will finally cave into them. If he hasn't already dealt with the problem himself.

Along with suffering from Chronic Hero Syndrome Yuri seems to be suffering from Lone Wolf Syndrome.

Should no one bother asking he will lock the problem away, think about it after some time, find a solution and never bother with it again. In the mean time he will focus on something before he addresses what's bothering him; to keep his mind off of everything else.

The longer you're around Yuri the easier it is to know he's being bothered. While yes he keeps people a certain distance away, you don't have to be a friend to notice certain things Yuri does to give away what's wrong. He may change the subject or dismiss the problem. If possible he'll find an excuse to leave and drop the conversation there. He may even give you a blank look in response or become slightly frustrated.

Judith put it perfectly in the game: "He doesn't like admitting his feelings."
Due to how old he is and where he had grown up, Yuri's not surprised nor affected by things most people would find shocking at a young age. Someone could suddenly drop dead in front of him and Yuri wouldn't be very shocked, a little confused but certainly anything but shocked to the point of being immobile.

Yuri is all sorts of reckless. Especially when it comes to fighting. Yuri by nature is a brawler; he lives to fight. Each time he gets to have one it boosts his mood visibly. As said by Estelle: "The way your eyes shine, they only do that when you're fighting.

Yuri's also quite distant from people despite seeming so friendly at first. He keeps people at an arms length constantly. There are few people who Yuri would actually call a friend. Once he considers someone a friend though, he will go through hell and back for them More so than what he would go through for a normal person in trouble. It can be summed up as 'Big Brother Behavior'. If he really likes you expect to have him show up randomly or to be the first person to try and find you if somethings bothering you.

When it comes to making decisions, particularly big ones, Yuri's the first to take action in them if everyone else won’t. To him it doesn't matter how reckless the decision is. As long as it's made and it benefits the good of the people Yuri will make that choice. Generally all of these decisions benefit people for a short time.

Yuri's a very quick thinker, while all his choices may not be the best they're certainly better than someone who couldn't pick one without panicking. Usually he uses this to get through tough situations without too many issues. Other wise his bad luck catches up to him and makes the situation five times worse. This doesn't mean Yuri can't sit down and think over things, he can certainly do it but he's rarely experienced anything that requires such thought. No not even if it came down to killing Estele in the game. Yuri generally knows what has to be done if all the other attempts to change the outcome are failures.

Yuri is not easily fooled by most people. This is mostly due to living in such poor conditions back home. Also that one of the few people he had looked up to in the past turned out to be manipulating everyone to do his dirty work. Yuri included. Some people can manage to fool him, but he'll notice hints that there's something off somewhere. He won't address them about it immediately but he will address them about it once his suspicions are well founded.

As stated before Yuri is very reckless, especially when it comes to fighting. Team this up with how over confident he can get and you have a recipe for a possible disaster. Yuri usually manages to use his quick thinking to get out of things without too much damage done.

Yuri also lies, he lies a lot. This can get really aggravating because if you catch him in one, he will not admit it. He'll just act like he never opened his mouth. Needless to say this can make him seem like the last person you would want to trust.

He isn't exactly known for his 'extraordinarily good luck' back home. He is how ever known to bring horrible luck with him where ever he goes. It's not lost on him. Should something like oh say a sudden horrible three day downpour happen in the place Yuri is. He will outright say he's cursed. He's usually the person to blame when ever something bad happens.

He hates to draw attention to himself and he hates to add to anyone's burdens. He will gladly talk about other things besides himself. He will gladly talk about another person in a positive manner. But the moment you try to pry any information about him, he'll shut up or give short descriptiveness replies.

He will say he's poor and almost homeless like everyone else in the Lower Quarter. He'll say he was once in the Imperial Knights but he won't elaborate. He'll even say he's got a criminal record, but he'll never tell what he's done. Personal achievements, what are those?

To him the less people know about him the better, this means people won't be burdened by his presence. Though this idea is flawed, as people will undoubtedly be worried about him no matter what.

Yuri does not get angry easily, you have to do certain key things to get on his bad side. Threaten his friends, manipulate him somehow, threaten innocents or the like. Will instantly but you on his 'this person is to not be allowed to go through with any plans what so ever' list, he will make sure to get in your way if he's around. God help you if you do anything worse, Yuri does not do 'forgiveness' if you have done some truly horrible crimes.

For the life of him, Yuri can not sit still for more than a couple hours. Sure he may come off as a lazy good for nothing bum. But add in his love for sweet things with having a lot of energy naturally, you might as well have given him coffee. For the love of god don't do that either, last thing you need is Yuri bouncing off the walls. If he's not sleeping, he's moving around doing something.

Never send him out into unexplored or explored places without someone either, Yuri has a horrible sense of direction. Even if he's visited the place over a thousand times. He will still manage to get himself lost, yes even if you hand him a map of the area.
