Anime Expo! I've never made it out to that, or really been to any legit convention before. One day, though! Also, just out of curiosity, where abouts in California are you from?

It was a while before I started, and it was thanks to my big sister that I did, haha!

Northern! Silicon Valley certified nerd. 8D (If that doesn't ring any bells, an area just south of San Francisco.) Where you probably learn how to text before you learn how to write XD

Lol naturally miss! I'm from the SF Bay Area! Even lived in San Jose and Fremont for a short time when I was young.

I've always wanted to go to an anime expo, but the nearest one is at London, I have no idea where its located, and its always held at highly inconvenient times. xD

I have yet to get to the point where Rita can say that -- I must fix this someday O_O tomoyoichijouji June 23 2011, 08:42:38 UTC
(^-Again, the whole plays-games-very-slowly thing strikes again)

Ah, there aren't as many anime cons in other parts of the world, huh =x Previous years AX was simply hard to get to since it's in Los Angeles way down in Southern California (I live in the north part) California just happens to be lucky to have many bigger cons happening in the summer. In the state of Ohio where I went to school, except for one which happened during Spring break, I didn't go to the cons with my anime club because they were right before midterms 9_9

(I finish games in a week or less if I really get into them. xD)

There are hardly any anime conventions in this part of the world, alas. I guess its because the vast majority of voice actors are from some part of America or another, so its more convenient for them. Much as I'd love to travel abroad and experience one, it'd cost a fortune and I don't even have a passport, so...yeah, whilst England is most delightful, its damn boring. xD

Though, hearing from people I know who've gone to England or other parts of Europe, there's so much history and background everywhere that the USA simply hasn't been around for long enough to have =O But I guess I'm just thinking idealistically since I haven't seen much more of it than pictures, haha. (I really should travel more, there's so much out there I haven't seen yet just cause I've always been busy with school...)

I'll be back in NorCal during Independence Day weekend since I haven't been home in more than 7 months and I don't know when I'll get another chance to visit any time soon. Sadly that means I'll miss my chance meeting up with you again, but I got your message from Winnie aka lakari-chan from Fanime. :D

Yeah, I thought I heard that you had stuff going on during both cons, oh well =x But I'm glad you got my message! ^o^ We'll get another chance, no worries! This year, if things go as planned on my end, it'll be more likely than usual since I'll have more opportunities for free time 8D

Yeah, my schedule this year is really uncertain (I'm not even sure I'll be going back to China to visit my grandparents this year, and I've never gone one whole year without seeing them for the past 16 years). ;_;
