I have just eaten a can of Sainsburys basics peach slices.
Sainsburys basics peach slices are brilliant because you get 230 calories of delicious energy (but less than 0.1g of fat or salt) for about 17p. Plus you don't need to wash anything up afterwards except a fork. Plus they last for ages. Plus they're surrounded with yummy syrup.
I could go on, but I'll cut to the chase: The absolute best thing about Sainsburys basics peach slices is that when you eat them you become privy to a view of your place in the world...
"You are a penniless bum living in a dank hovel by yourself. You are the person who woke up determined to make some headway with his essay but, come midnight, still hasn't got anything more substantial than he did this time last night. In short you are a pathetic failure doomed to die alone. And you eat Sainsburys basics peach slices."
