...Perhaps luck is coming your way. I dunno how, tho. Maybe Chris Peck picked you for beginner workshop for Live Mix or something.

I'm crossing my fingers that he might let me skip to Advanced, just because I've been told by others that I know everything he'll teach in Beginner (i.e., I know about different kinds of mics, I've recorded a drum kit before, etc.).

Hmmm. I'm hoping I get into Live Mix period, since Alden literally told me that demos are going to determine who gets to be a production assistant, and because all my old production shit is gone (particularly a good PSA and montage I was going to use), all I had was three samples I did over the course of 1 day, and a few of the Listener Panel samples I did with DADpro and Adobe Audition. Chances for that happening: 20% optimistically, 10% realistically.

Ditto with me on the production demos. I had two hours to go through some voiceovers on the WECB computer, edit them, and slap some music behind them. Not too impressive. I stuck an act I recorded in Owen's class last semester on the end.
