someday my job will come

It is depressing to be out of work. I don't like it at all. I do things every day, but since none of them earn me any money of my own, it feels a little worthless. I know a lot of couples, when they first get married, have a hard time thinking of their individual earnings as shared between the two. But this is that whole "devaluation of women's work" idea coming into play. Soon you'll have a wee one to take care of and that will be WORK (in case you didn't already know, lol).

The work-from-home jobs I have seen all look so scammy. I check the classifieds on a daily basis, just in case there is a job that is part-time, from home, that having a baby wouldn't interrupt :) I don't need a lot of money, I just want to have a little that is my very own, you know?

There was a post in the pregnant community a while back that i looked over regarding this... quite a few people recommended chacha.com - a service where you answer questions people send in on text messages. Not a lot of money, but more than zero. I've been meaning to sign up, but haven't gotten around to it yet.
Other sites people mentioned were wahm.com and workplacelikehome.com

Reworking one's portfolio is a full-time job in and of itself, in my opinion, albeit a temporary position. I'm glad for you that you have the time to devote to really doing it with your whole heart!

haha, thanks! I want to make an online version of the portfolio as well and that will take a while because I am slow at html. It will be a fun project, though.
