First, the big news: in an unexpected turn of events, we are moving back to Charleston! Early this month one of my sisters asked whether Leo might be interested in a job with the company she works for, which just happens to be headquartered in Charleston. It was a pretty unexpected chance, but one we are happy to have! We're all getting excited, and I'm trying not to get too bogged down in packing hell!

I'm so glad things are working out. I'm sorry that we won't be able to meet before your move. But as long as everyone is happy that's what matters. Btw you are so right about down here not being the place to raise kids. We're looking into moving before Behn turns five.

Working out very unexpectedly, but we couldn't be happier! It would have been nice to have a chance to meet up, but if you're ever in Charleston...

I think that's the main motivation for us moving - neither of us wants Olivia to grow up here, and we both feel she'd have a better quality of life in Charleston.

I know this is delayed, but congratulations. I just recently went to Florida, but our trip was so rushed I did not have anytime to connect with you. Now, it looks like you would have been quite busy anyways. Wishing you all the best in going back to South Carolina!

Thanks, J! We have made it safely to South Carolina and are in a sort of limbo waiting for our new condo to be ready for us. Hopefully we'll be able to start moving our things in next weekend! I'm sorry to have missed you in Florida, though!

Well, we are having talks of Myrtle Beach! Are you anywhere near there? Who knows how our paths may cross in the future? Good luck on this new era of your life. Look forward to hearing more.

We're about two hours south of Myrtle Beach, and could certainly make a day trip up that way, or make a weekend of it! I've driven through Myrtle Beach a lot, but never spend any time there, so it would be interesting to see. Maybe we will meet up someday, you're right!
