This is all super exciting and actually quite inspirational. Makes me want to get back on with tracking my calorie balance! (I have had great success with weight loss every time I've tried this method, but always lose concentration after a couple of months, so my weight creeps back up again).
Thank you, L! I think keeping track of my calories and exercise is the only way I could do this. In the beginning I thought it would be hard, and parts of it were, but adding everything to MyFitnessPal every day is actually the easy part. I'm freakishly good at being accountable to that app for some reason!
It really is crazy how many calories are in various foods. I'm always amazed at pre-packaged vs. fresh foods like fruits and veggies. Heck yeah, I'd rather have two peaches or a few cups of strawberries instead of a cookie!
Thanks, E! I am actually really proud of myself. I'm hoping that the realty of having done this for a year will sort of give me a kick in the pants to get back on track and start being super vigilant again, since I've been slacking for the past couple of months in all the moving excitement.

And currently weigh (as of this morning) 139.2. Granted this is up from my 138 when I got pregnant which I lost another pound. But before all that I was 147 just slightly overweight and very unhappy about it. Most of it was still left over baby weight. I hate to say that but it was. I was 137 when I got pregnant with Behn, just in the normal range and gained the 29 lb required. I dropped down to 125 when I was breastfeeding but once i stopped the weight came back. So I am eating better, not really eating junk anymore. (Ok the doc told me give in to my cravings this time around because i didn't gain as much way as I should when I was pregnant with Behn. So i do give in now and then. But other than that I've been really good.) I crave really random things like sushi, and noodles. So I watch the salt levels. So hopefully it will be a slow gain and a good
