I don't know what's happening with Big Bang but I looooove Stand Up and so I'm ficcing. Har har har.
In the long string of coincidences (or some people at their most religious would call 'fate', but Seunghyun doesn't feel like calling it that, because God knows -- er, he himself knows that if God had a part to play in this, he wouldn't have had it play out like this, or at least would have stopped it if he saw it was playing out like this) Seunghyun calls his life, this is the weirdest moment thus far. He's pretty sure. Maybe.
"You're not going to be weird about this, are you?" Jiyong asks him and Seunghyun just stands there, stunned, pretty sure this should be a dream except he's the only one who thinks it's weird as fuck and in dreams you never realize anything's odd until you wake up.
"Ri and Daesung were cool when they found out," Youngbae says. "Sorry you had to be last, hyung."
"We meant to tell you, but let's be honest, it's not any of your friggin' business." Jiyong waves his hand nonchalantly. "What's up, why you home early?"
Seunghyun finds a voice to speak with. "Wait, the others know?"
Youngbae looks more than apologetic. Jiyong shrugs. "Most people can take hints less subtle than an anvil dropped on their head." He smiles. "Gay-sized anvil in your case."
"Stop teasing him," Youngbae says faintly. "He seems traumatized."
"I'm still in the room!" Seunghyun exclaims. "I.. It's okay. I just wish you could've told me."
"And spared you the haunting mental images?" Jiyong nods.
"Spare us the embarrassment," Youngbae adds.
"There's nothing to be embarrassed about," Jiyong says coolly. "We pay rent too, we're allowed to make out on the couch if we so wish. Hyung should've been out tonight anyway."
"You did more than make out," Seunghyun points out, and immediately wishes he hadn't.
"Why are you home so early anyway?" Jiyong asks again.
"She never showed up at the Italian restaurant in Yonsang-gu we were supposed to meet up at," Seunghyun replies.
"I thought you said the restaurant was at Gangnam-gu," Youngbae mentions.
"Oh .. shit," Seunghyun says, and thinks if there is a God, it's one laughing at him because even in a world of all the possibilities, he seems to have the most unfavorable coincidences, all packed into one evening.
