I've been busy. I don't know how long it has been since my last post. Forgive me. I've also noticed a troubling thing; folks are asking me if I'm alright, if anything is wrong. I feel I owe anyone who asks an explanation

You did look a little edgy at pub sing. Not sure if this is of any help to you, but I've had some friends who have been diagnosed with depression and one who would've been diagnosed with it. Talking to a doctor about it is actually really easy and if you know anyone who's taken the meds most all of them will tell you that it's made the difference between day and night.... or at least between late afternoon and early evening. It won't reduce love pangs, but it might help keep them in perspective with everything else.
By the time you're 60 you'll wonder what it was like to be filled with angst. Heck, by the time you're 35 you'll probably be that way! ;)
*hug* hey there. I know how you feel. It's good to have someone like a a girlfriend that helps. Sorry she's not there =\
Everything else... I know all too well. Everyone seems to be going through one form or another of it. As the person that posted above said, doctors (not your main physician though) who are like therapists, etc. can help. I just visited with a psychiatrist and he put me on Lexapro, I've also been on zoloft and effexor.. but it's all up to you and if you feel you need it.
It also helps if you're open with yourself, admitting, etc. You also have friends. I'm always around if you need to talk. :) Talking helps. A RP friend of mine said he saw you at the georgie festival place where the rumrunners were performing. He wants to take me there, so maybe next summer I might visit and see what it's like!
