Ooo! I would fight you for Spike. Totally. yum. And I think it's more that vampires are portrayed as have a fluid sexual orientation, almost being ambisexual in their attractiveness to mortals.

*L* You'd have a fight cause, well, yes. Who doesn't love those cheekbones? I mean, he does tortured soul better than Angel ever did--even BEFORE the soul!

And yeah, suppose that'd be it. It's almost like, well, they embody sex, as far as mortals are concerned. Which makes an awesome predatory technique, I must say. If your prey is attracted to you...well...even an idiot fledge can hunt effectively, can't they?

TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY AGREED.

Wholeheartedly, even.

(Really, I think anyone who's seen Interview with the Vampire can tell how unintentionally gay they seem. [much love.] Really, Lestat biting Louis? That was totally hot vampire mansex.)

*L* Oh, of COURSE! Though I actually liked the majorly tragic love story of Louis and Claudia more. Wasn't her fault her body never aged, even as she did. Shame she was killed. I think she had the most potential of the whole lot, personally. Though I do love Louis' angsting. (I've only seen the movie, haven't read the books, though that should be obvious)

OH my gosh yes. And it all stemmed from one night he expected to be wandering into a deserted place... poor things ;_;

You have to love Louis' angsting, it's just adorable!

(I've never read them either, unfortunately, although I do intend to.)

Yeah. Either a very lucky occurrence, or a sad one.

Of course it is. He just makes it impossible not to want to pick him up and hold him and squeeze him and call him George. I'm actually a bit curious if he ever finds out about Lestat, and what happens to the reporter he spent the night bleeding his heart to.

(it's been on my To Do list for over a decade. Hope you got better luck than me)
