man i wish i had been there for your tempura party. Dinner parties are fun! I've had a few since I've been here. but yeah, your first one you're thinking, "whoa i'm not a kid anymore."
S.A.M. if it hasn't been used, you ought to coin it. I liked shortcomings. I like adrian tomine. yes on high fidelity. About a boy he's not too much of an asshole. I would also had woody allen's character in Manhattan. I feel like he's the seminal S.A.M.
i'm jealous of you and MIA. people here don't appreciate her. they saw her at the austin city limites festival and were like "i don't get it."

persepolis if you havent. the first one is awesome. so is the second one, but the first one is like "I think MAUS has a worthy punk-rock daughter."
the magical life(?) of Long Tack Sam by anne marie fleming. Not the best drawn book, also a memoir, but the story is amazing. I wish they could make it into a movie, it sounds fantastic and suspensful and heartbreaking.
