Oregon Chai made with hazelnut milk = surprisingly delicious.
Theoretically needing to work on research-related things at night while I already spend most of my time alone = less delicious.

I'm supposed to be fixing the messed-up references for an article the prof I work for wrote. How fucking boring is that. In reality, I fix/add something here and there while perusing the internet, drinking my chai, rocking out to Madonna, and trying to avoid the myriad bugs that have decided to take up residence in my room. I've also been informed that there was a bat living in the building... but I've gotta say I'm not nearly freaked out enough to close my windows. It's too fucking hot for that shit.

Highlights of recent times:
-Mike left on Sunday to go home before leaving for Australia. Cut to very sad me. HOWEVER I was able to arrange, just today, someone to cover my shifts on Saturday so I can drive up to VT for the weekend and have a few more days with him. WHAT WHAT

Check out my mad self-portrait photography skills. Very nice, no?

-I've been talking to Dawid a lot via email. It's very nice. I miss that kid like the dickens.

Less than 2 months before I'll see him in Italy!! woot!!

-I have been making crazy money working a bajillionty hours per week. Italy is gonna be RIDICK. And hopefully I will go shopping before then too. Maybe with Catherine?? YAY TIPS

-I also get to hang out with Rachel Russell and her children. I know, you're all jealous (or would be if you knew her). I'm very sorry for you.

-I've been bonding with the girls in the building (there are only 4... 5? of us). Today we went to buy them fans and to get ice cream! If I could make myself finish this research stuff, I would let myself hangout with them more. We'll see how that goes.

A brilliant idea just struck me. I should make some facebook photo albums. Keep your eyes peeled in the next fews days.

Today after work I ventured to Trader Joe's. TJ's is like paradise to me. I bought tomatoes, mozzarella balls, basil and sliced challah bread. That was my dinner. It was so delicious.

Um, yeah. I should be working. Dammit. As Asharae said yesterday, I'm going "back to the grindstone."
