This was really wonderful, so thoughtful and with such great descriptions. I loved the ambiguity of the ending as well. Very nice job!

You illustrated the setting so vividly it got me thinking about visiting my family in Florida, as well as all the beautiful places where I've seen sunsets. This was a beautiful snapshot of a moment.

A nice, atmospheric description here, not only of the place but of the difficult questions that arise when we weight imperfect choices, or the imperfection (not bad, but rarely perfect) that generally is life.

Thanks for the thoughtful comment. It's really good to be in a place where I can examine these thoughts and emotions without anxiety that I somehow missed some magical golden answer that would have perfected everything.
