A nice little plague-vignette and it worked well! I enjoyed this because land disputes is what we do here and I could soooooooooo relate!

True story. Today was a particularly weird one, too. We started talking about coming back in. I have such a weird feeling about the rest of the year.

I have a weird feeling about the next school year. I teach special needs 3-6-year-olds and they don't understand anything going on and have various sensory needs. A huge part of our education is self-help skills and social skills and I just don't think any proposed distancing or mask-wearing would work for that population given the nature of my students.

True story! I’m trying to do that this season without actually writing about myself or my work and I’m not sure I always get the balance right. But I’m trying.

The genesis of this story is fascinating, as was the tale itself. It was fun reading how your personal life led to this entry. Great use of personal material!

Thanks! I particularly appreciate that you commented on the personal note, because I’m always really uncertain as how to those go over.
