I went to the lovely state of Wisconsin for the weekend and did all of the things that Wisconsinites do.
Among the things I accomplished:
1) Drink large amounts of beer. 2) Drink large amounts of whiskey. 3) Ate two bowl's of that nationally renowned "2nd Best Chili" in America. 4) Was introduced to the game of Fireball (which, essentially, is kickball but the ball is on fire). 5) Took a tour of a brewery. 6) On the way back, ate the self-proclaimed "Best Burger In Iowa" which, for the record, was not that great. 7) Ate (and brought back with me) large amounts of cheese.
The trip as a whole was very successful (and very gluttonous).
So, why Tulsa and what did you do? I think I slept in a motel there one night when I was going down to visit my sister (who was stationed in Texas at the time), but I didn't really have a chance to soak it in.
Yeah, I never really had a chance to soak it in either. My aunt lives down there and is getting chemo, so she has her good and bad weeks. She drove up here to see family on a good week, and by the time it was time to leave, she was on a bad week...so I drove down with her, stayed the night, and then rented a SUV to drive back (she gave me a huge TV) the next day. When I was down there a couple weeks ago I did have time to stalk out Garth Brooks though! You saw the pictures.
And I work for a health insurance company based out of Wisconsin, so I pretty much get my fill of those weird accents and cheese!
Fireball...you dare devil. 2nd Best Chili....pretty sure I make the 1st Best Chili.
