faster, faster, next stop disaster!

just got back from the KY state fair with the boy. got to do all kinds of fun things, like watch cows poop, watch horses poop, watch pigs poop, and chickens try to hatch... then poop.

we also got to ride lots of fun rides, eat junk food and pay the carnies play games. i believe the boy will be quite the roller coaster junkie i am. the whole

In 1994, I worked at the WAVE-TV booth at the State Fair and I had a blast. Mainly because the weather guy I was supposed to be working the booth with kept leaving, so I just meandered aimlessly around Freedom Hall all day and got paid for it.

I do, however, remember the promo video for the 1994 NBC fall season that I had to watch over and over again all day long. That was the year "Friends" and "ER" premiered. I actually remember thinking "Well, NBC's going to tank this year".

I suppose I have no future as a TV exec.

wow, i remember that year. in fact that was probably the last time i was at the fair.

i think this is the first year i have taken the boy for one reason or another. i sure as hell don't remember all the carnies trying to rope him into all the games.
