Makes you wonder - is Alaska a state that teaches abstinence-only sex ed? Would young Bristol have acted differently if she was allowed to be on the pill (I would figure her mom wouldn't allow such a thing if she knew)?

Oh - and wait till the sad stink of their statistically highly probable divorce. Have sex, don't know about your birth control options, get pregnant, get married, get divorced... what a great cycle all based on conservative political values with a mild nod to the moral values on which they're based. If they really cared about the moral values, there'd be more political movement to outlaw divorce as well as abortion (and birth control and severely limiting sex ed...).
