Ugh, so I read in your post . . . sorry about that.

My grandmother always used to make some concocktail out of whiskey or moonshine or whatever, and she said that it would burn the cold right out of a person.

Glad yer all done Bubba. Wish I was up north tonight to take part in the drunken type of revelry (one of my fav types of revelrly as you're already aware of) but I'll have to save that for when I am (hopefully) up there in July for a visit.
