A bumper sticker that reads 'Support Our Troops' does not make you a supporter of our troops. It's a stereotype and a cliché, but conservatives view liberals in general as unpatriotic because we refuse to adorn our vehicles with forced, bandwagon-jumping, pro-america slogans. Instead of blindly following our leader we question his ability to govern ( Read more... )

i saw a bumper sticker today that said ... "Real Men love Jesus." (On a Saburban) Your bumper sticker boldness reminded me of it. I guess real men molest little children too.

I've seen that as too and yes, it pisses me off as well. I want to make a "Real Men Love Siddhartha Guatama", or do you think that reference is a bit too obscure?

At WRIF, when they made me take off my hoody the DJ looked at the picture of Bush with money signs over his eyes and shit and asked, "So what is that all about anyway? Do you hate America or something?" I replied with my typical answer of, "It's a band." And that shut him up, but all I wanted to say was "Yes."

You should have replied with "No, that's why i hate this leader." Get all politically witty on his ass.

its funny how easily outsiders realize our impending doom. there is a girl in my calc. who moved here from Belgium, and she always talks about Bush and Schwartzenegger. she's like "your president can't even speak your language." but apparently that doesn't our credibility as a nation, right? remember the british magazine cover that said "how can (insert number of bush voters) be so stupid?" i think that about wraps up the arguement as to whether or not our president is hurting our credibility as a nation.

i always just assumed that the proceeds from the stickers went to the troops, but i suppose not being that we can't even get adequate weaponry and armor.
