you never fail to depress me and further back my beliefs.

i love that line. "exploit innocent cartoon characters." i picture spongebob quivering in anger and resentment when his artist is drawing him sing about diversity acceptance. "damnit! where is squidward? i hope they didn't get him too. they probably made Patrick their king, queeries. he is such a queen."

Just when i think our country is making a solid step left, we take a face-first fall into fear and religion. christ, i still am flabbergasted (sorry) that all 11 states voting on gay marriage were against it. ALL 11. it goes to show how little we know about our country. we assume we are becoming more understanding and liberal, but we live in a very democratic state, actually. and we don't take into account every state between us and arizona, who are christian-conservative traditionalists. it's only big cities and a few liberal areas that side with us. i mean, utah is 70% mormon. i don't know how anything remotely healthy gets passed in congress.

i dont like to bitch about religion too much because im forced to still go to church, even though i dont believe in god, and i feel it rude to diss what people believe, but i will say i totally agree that christians are blowing that subject way out of proportion. it actually angers me quite a bit. whatever.

I have no problem condemning what someone believes in if i know it's wrong. Bigotry is wrong, and i'll never be anything but vocal with my stance on that.
