Coffee Flavored Anything:

I'm considering giving up my pilgrimage... in Final Fantasy X, that is. Every once in a while a video game reaches this apex in difficulty that's so maddeningly hard you can't help but wonder if the people that made the fucking game have ever actually played it. I, for one, am not entertained by frustration, nor getting my ass kicked unrelentlessly ( Read more... )

Thats right, you tell them. holdonicant April 9 2005, 19:06:17 UTC
I never though I would hear you say that you quit Final Fantasy, even if just for now. When you do decide to pick up the controller to play that game again, I wish you the best of luck.

P.S. Today is beautiful.

Well thanks.

And yes, today is pretty nice. Hopefully we both find something to do with it.

I don´t understand... Americans and Final Fantasy. I don´t know ONE Canuck that plays it.
Interesting observation, I know...

I also met 2 girls from Michigan here (Mexico) but they weren´t very nice.

That's very strange, considering how insanely big it is here. And Japan, but Maffy the Mushroom is insanely big in Japan as well, so what does that tell you?

I read an interview with the guy that started the band Final Fantasy, and he said he never played the game, but he was intrigued by "this big gay thing" so many people felt so strongly about. And i think that's a pretty accurate description of it.

But it is ridiculosly fun at times. When it isn't impossible, of course.

P.S. Most of the girls i've met in Michigan aren't very nice either.

That Japanese like their Mushrooms??

this big gay thing
hahaha.

The only thing worse than video games are *impossible* video games. Though I would hardly know considering I don´t care to touch them with a really long stick... err a ten-foot pole.

I like your version better. Nobody touches anything with a ten foot pole. Really big sticks, on the other hand, are commonly used for touching things people generally find unappealing. Like dead animals and David Lee Roth solo material.

Ho-ho!

You really should just go back out and spend a day just fighting (for lack of a better word)negilible monsters. It will suck (oh, I think the word I needed was trivial) but it will give you the power you need. I mean, my friend Jimbob beat Seymour Flux; you have to out-do someone named Jimbob.

That's a good point. I don't really think i'm going to go level up any, but i'll try again.
