1. I suppose i am fascinated by sadness. My entire record collection seems to reflect that. But i think i was more interested in the fact that i had my own context all of a sudden. I love when artists have ongoing themes, like Jason Molina and the moon and Borges and labyrinths. I was happy to discover i have my own thing too.

2. I'll send you my address.

3. My hair is just about the length it was before i shaved it last time, so i guess mine will be cut soon too.

Cacti have this marvelous human shape don't they? Even the ones that don't have arms look like little spiky heads.

I didn't think anyone else had heard of that odd Disney movie!
the Galopagos Islands,
the Mexican people dancing
all those ladies on the beach
(and then Donald running around going "pretty girls! pretty girls!" or something)
the Penguin! aww, and then he moves to where he's warm all the time
the big bird in the nest that turned out to be a donkey
(that part where he cuts the wrap around thing off the donkey always scared me because I thought he would hurt the donkey)
the different kinds of tropical birds and explaining thier beak sizes
Did you watch it as much as I did?

It's weird that your desert is dark. Dark colours.
when deserts are usually blindingly bright
Just the dark brown and black you chose to use are interesting picks - not bad picks - and I'm no art critic (and could I really criticise anything from you, no), but I'm still pondering whether or not they are appropriate

you never bore, Kyle :)

The penguin was always my favorite part. But then i'd always get so excited when Donald got that huge box that said "With love from Mexico" or whatever.

Yeah... i totally did watch it as much as you did. I didn't always make it to the end, though, because i'd always try to watch it before i fell asleep and more often than not... i just fell asleep.

As for desert colours... i don't know. I wasn't thinking of the traditional, alladin/ arabian deserts as much as just some place where there's no signs of life at all. And that's what came out.
