That was quite the excellent read. And also, I noticed that you liked Shellac, and for that, and the great writing, you get an:

I was listening to shellac when i wrote almost all of that, actually. I figure if it's okay for Shellac to write every song about baseball and canada, it's okay if i write about the same thing over and over again.

Anyway, thanks for the kind words. And the giant, inflatable and somewhat sexually suggestive A+.

The picture is perfect, because all through the first story I imagined that the angel was a women, until the very last paragraph of "With that that angel walked out of both apartment nine and his mortal friend's life, never to return for his guidance was never again necessary."

I try to see this on all the levels and plains of existance that it could take place, and it only leaves me more confused and hurting in my head, so I'll just take it as a great work of fiction with slowly developing characters that I'm growing to love and always surprising plot twists I never saw comming.

I never even considered a different sex for those characters. I guess because they're both parts of me, and i don't have any female parts (that i know of). It's interesting, though, that you interpreted it differently. Anyway, there's certainly no questioning who's the angel in that picture.

As a side note, i thought i was being painfully obvious, so i'm glad it was still obscure enough to confuse you, haha.
