Damn ... I understand what you mean about your time off getting fouled up, and how that plus the disruption of your anniversary leaves you feeling frustrated.
Perhaps you should plan your anniversary stuff a week earlier and cheat fate?
I've heard nothing but good about Left 4 Dead, and I'd love to try Fallout 3 as well.
I have Fallout 3 but have been waiting to play it. I don't know why though...it's almost ritualistic with RPGs like this, I almost always have to wait for The Right Time (whatever and whenever that is) before I can start one LOL.
Waiting to see if mi familia got me Left 4 Dead for Christmas. If not, I'll just use up the inevitable Best Buy giftcards to buy it because I just love the idea of a game that has no illusions about trying to impress you with a deep storyline, and chooses instead to simply give you a shotgun to kill zombies with. EXPLODO!
Depending on whether or not the anniversary thing is still bothering, I may talk about this with you in person over the weekend. To be continued...?
