Now, now young Anthony, although Patty's musical taste and ways of leading may not suite you very well, she is a kind lady who does mean well. As for leading rehearsals, I know it can be annoying. Trust me, this is a month and a half of teaching a band class solo talking. But although it may be annoying, try to think of it as a compliment. How many students can be trusted to lead the class by themselves? And hey, I was serious: just let her know that I'll lead the class and just have you play piano. I have plenty of experience with conducting bands, I'd love to try chorus.
