PINpoint message to Irma

It takes Tom a little while to work up the nerve to ask, but he wasn't terribly excited about going to Harley's party alone, especially a costume party. He's not sure Irma will say yes, but he'd appreciate her company -- maybe that's why he's nervous, because he doesn't want to impose. Of course that's it, it's not because he's afraid she'll say no ( Read more... )

Irma gets the text, looking at it for a second and debating on what she should say. It's sort of been a while since they've talked. She should probably get out more.

On the other hand, she has fucking wings.

That sounds fun... There's, ah, one thing I should probably say, though. Um. I... think I drank something LOL'd because now I have wings.

Irma stares at the message for a minute before she sends it off, figuring that's the best way to put it.

Tom's stomach sinks a little at her words. She's probably busy working or already has plans, he thinks to himself before he actually finishes reading her text.

Then he just blinks a couple times.

He types, what then deletes it quickly. After a second, he tries again:

Are you okay? It sounds like it could be inconvenient.

They don't hurt or anything and they're not really heavy. They just itch a bit. Steve keeps trying to play with them.

Irma sends back. At this moment, Steve trots past with a couple of white feathers in his mouth. He's learned that the ones that fall on the floor are okay, but the ones that are from the wings are not.

The concept of someone having wings from drinking a LOL'd beverage is very new to Tom. The concept of someone having wings, period, is very new to Tom.

I'm glad they aren't heavy. At least it is around Halloween?

He realizes that she never really answered his question, and so he types out another reply.

No one at the party will mind that you are winged.
