I work 50 to 70 hrs in my dream job. Its kinda awsom and its kinda not. Granted its not the job I desire for the gig I work now. I'm on running crew, my job is pulling ropes and bringing different pieces of scenery on and off stage. well, its hard work but its worth it, i think. i can tell you're happy. the job isnt perfect, of course, but you come home so vibrant and full of energy and just...happy every night. so i know its better than working at mod or the strand.

as you continue working there and get up in the ranks i'm sure you'll end up with a position you favor, and one where it wont be easy for others to order you around. in the meantime it will take a lot of patience. maybe it will help to think back to how it was as a sound operator on plays that were less hectic than this insane musical the alley's doing now.
