ooc: Retcon of the Head of Auror department. Instead of Dawn having run the department Dawlish was given the promotion after Harry stepped down. He's been in charge for the last ten years. This is being done because I don't want to NPC an original character that used to be active, but hasn't been around in months. This way we can move forward with

Congratulations. Yeah, I know it may sound a little ironic now, but I mean it. I hope we get breakthroughs and clear this all. I'll be helping as well as I can.

About that, Headmaster Snape's requested that I ask for a reassignment away from Hogwarts. Sorry to push this on you so soon after stepping up, but I'd guess that the less opportunity for tension of any kind, the better.

I've left a list of registered werewolves that may have been infected with the tainted Wolfsbane last month on your desk. It's a follow up interview only to determine if they experienced any of the symptoms of the potion not working properly. The faster we work through these lists the faster we can determine where to go from here.
