OMG I LOVE IT!!!! It mingles the "mundane" (being hungry, old cars, cell phones, dogs) with the "magical"(supernatural!) stuff so, so well, that it's all entirely believable and makes perfect sense. And the scenes with the unicorn were amazing, so well done.

oh my fucking god, this is great. just the image of a unicorn with its head on Castiel's lap is like the cutest thing imaginable. I wish more people wrote good old-school casefic like this! it's gonna make me smile all day.

Best case scenario, the unicorn is impressed by my virtue and rests his head upon my lap. Then, I’ll kill it and harvest the carbuncle at the base of its horn.
