As a mother and wife this issue hits close to my heart. I am completey sober when I drive and if you aren't you need a wakeup call. I will never condone this type of behavior as there are severe possible penalties of taking another life should you choose to put your key in the ignition....because you think you are invincible. When I first saw your icon, I was like whoa! I had that exact same one on my old LJ. Except my username scrolled across the bottom. And I think that is my fave pic of Maynard, just because he looks so innocent, so glorious, lol. *sigh*

that's sad, yes I don't agree with drinking and driving either, and I don't understand why people do it. I'm sorry to hear about Joel though I didn't know him may he rest in peace.

Like the notion is new...hmmm driving impaired + loss of control= disaster. So little room in my book for such a huge error and apparant disregard for life.
